2020 Onwards - What’s Your Game Plan?

Hope for the best and plan for the worst! 
The current COVID-19 pandemic and our response reminds us of the importance of good planning and good leadership. While no one specifically predicted the current crisis, there have been similar incidents over time and other crises such as earthquakes, fires and floods. But how prepared have we been? Have we included risk management strategies in all we do? How do we strategically plan for a crisis in the library sense? Does considering improbable, possible, plausible and probable scenarios improve our planning, our responsiveness and our messaging at a service delivery level? What are our assumptions about the future? RHCS will explore these questions and others, including what we have learnt developing strategic plans for Australian public libraries.
